Just a bit pissed now

Just came back from malaysia.My grandmother's funeral.Thanks to some smart traditional rule,we were not allowed to watch any bit of tv,listen to any radio or surf any trace of internet for five days.Just found out that i really rellied on these things to survive.Somehow managed to survive these five days.My grandma's funeral was a very lively event.Hundreds or even thousands of pple came every night.No surprise considering that she have 104 direct decedants.She was a well respected woman at the area she lived in,her death was even featured in the newspaper.

Not that sad compared to some of my other relatives.Dun know why,maybe my angryness far outweigh my sadness.Or how should i put it,her death was indirectly caused by a conflict between mordern ideas and traditional beliefs.While normally when a person fall sick,he or she would be admitted to a hospital.However,my grandmother was taken out of the hospital shortly after she was admitted coz the elders belived that"it is better to die at home than at hospital."Come on lah,she could be saved if she remained at the hospital.One should not give up just like that.I'm not blaming them,i'm just blaming the beliefs that chose to belive in.
