So keane's probably on his way back to canada now,by the time he's back a few months later he'll be eligible to enter a university while most of us are still slogging away at jcs or polys.Had a good time with the others former 2i pple during his short holiday in s'pore.Steamboat outing on saturday was great.Had great fun with the live prawns which amazingly jumps out of the soup.Had fun chopping the barely alive crabs.Learnt a few techniques in dealing with crabs.Did not know that we actually need to remove the gills from the crabs b4 cooking them.Fortunately no one came out with a dirrahoea or had a nightmare involving crab or prawn spirits.Had a great day of soccer on sunday,played until we dropped.Ridz's mom served us a totally amazing lunch.Played pool at tpy b4 sending him off.

End of an era

Com's down again.Got to reinstall the entire windows again,pple out there care to contribute in Short's new computer fund.Anyway,played a friendly with the c div bartley secondary team on sunday representing the home united academy.Gotta say its the end of an era,gone were the days where bartley sec were dominating the national scene,instead they've became a mediocre team.Played the entire second half,they did not post any significant danger to my posts,they seemed to run out of steam early in the 2nd half.In the end the scoreboard read 5-0,we totally deserved it.

Went to esplanade to do project work on monday.Basically did nothing except visiting the toilet and walking around that place.

In search for an answer....

Yesterday was the last day in the national schools bowling tournament.Went totally crazy,did not focus only bowled an average of 140.Now after the tournament,I reflect:should i stay in the bowling team at all,should i deserve the place in the team,where's my interest in bowling.It seemed that i've lost interest in this sport,i did not turn up 4 enough training.Whether my place should be given to one who's more enthu than me.I think that my lost in interest is caused by the teacher,there was simply no room for improvement.The training we had(or the lack of it) already set our place in the tournament,somewhere near the bottom.Where's the drills that almost killed me during my secondary schools days,where's our physical training,where's our knee-down and foulline practises to improve our release.It's simply not present,how u expect us to improve,how do u expect a 4th from us,when we do not have a quality training regime.It's simply not possible.We're not bad bowlers,we simply did not got drilled enough,we were far too casual in the training.Our mental is also very weak.Note i used the word "our".I went into the tournament in search for an answer,it seemed that i ended up with more questions with answers.

Econs test today,flunged it.It would be the 1st time in my life that i've failed econs.Math test tomorrow,no hope.I was had a belief,do not enter a battle withour any confidence.Well i do not have any,so should i go for the test?

It all looked so promising...

It all looked so promising,in the end it turned out to be shit.Started out day 2 of the national schools bowling tournament with 4 strikes in a row.Missed an easy pin 5,something which i missed a little bit too many times in this tournament.Its hunting me rite now.Closed the 1st game with a score of 205.It looked like i was going to better my average of 167.5 in the 1st day.2nd game was bad,a score of 160+ with glaring misses here and there.If the 2nd game was bad,the 3rd game was aboslutely horrid(t) i even had the audasity to hit the gutter on my 1st shot.Ended up with a 120+ game,my worst game in the tournament.My ball just did not skid in the extremly dry lanes,i wasn't able to get any carry down the lanes.Finished the day with a 162 average which was simply just not good enough.

Our 3 weeks of hardwork paid off

Today's the sea carnival heats.Our class's dragon did ourselves and our sunburnt justice by finishing 1st in our heats,ahead of our next opponent by at least 2 boat lengths.Also heard that we got the 2nd best timing overall.The sad thing's that we're not able to get hold of our pink hairbands on time for the heats,therefore we're not able to make a fool of ourselves in front of the whole school.The hokkien counts also helped alot,helped distinguished ourselves with the other classes,also but chanting in hokkien it made us sound more fierce.Could really feel the jerk of the boat towards the finishing line.Fell into the water during the novelty event after that.Got dragged all the way back to shore by my kind classmates.

Tomorrow's the doubles event,still deciding whether to attend morning assembly tomorrow.Hope to do my best and leave no regrets coz i might not get a 2nd chance next year. Siging off......

My 1st ever national schools tournament

Released from school early today.Took the team bus to victors superbowl 4 the national schools bowling tournament.The atmosphere in the team bus was quite relaxed,trying to calm ourselves down 4 the tournament.Did our warmup outside the alley near the carpark,Darren did a great job to organise the team and lead the warmup.I think his motivation helped me to improve my score,even though it was not really that good.Clock continues to countdown to the start of the tournament,had our final team motivation with the "team b" at our assigned lane.The lights of the lane lighted up signaling the 5 minutes warmup.Did not really get a feel for the lanes but i still were sliently confident that i'm going to do well.Started off the tournament with a strike,however a careless spare attempt on the pin 5 left me with only a score of 171.Did not really do well for the 2nd and 3rd games,managing only 160+ games.Kind of lost my focus halfway through the 2nd game.Our lane marshall from national Jc is really damn damn cute.She cheered for me somemore.Ok back to the main point,somehow recovered in the last game to rescue my score abit.

Sports day and a "class" outing of only 5 pple

Sports day yesterday,was timekeeper together with other year 1 soccer boys.The job was quite fun except it was quite pressurising in some races such as the 100m where the outsome of the races is quite close.We got better and better after each race,the timing where we start our watches was almost perfect towards the end of the day.Had a short meeting about release time for the upcoming bowling competition after sports day,sad ah cannot pon school for 2 days during the competition.Instead only releasd at 1050.When i was going making my way out of the school,i recieved news that GhimLiang had a great fall at the basketball court.So i made my way there,i saw him all bloodied lying on the ground with a few teachers attending to him.I never thought that the cut will be that bad.He was sent to the hospital and 7 stitches is needed on his chin.
Stayed back in school to play squash.Played 4 like 2+ hours.Wanted to stay back for the so called class outing organised mainly by ahlong and ah lian.In the end both of damn did not show up.Only 5 of us turned up.Played a bit of pool,still as bad as usual and watched coach carter b4 going home.If i'm going to spend 9.50 on a movie,this will be it.

Black

Damn i'm getting darker and darker,and with my new prisoner haircut i'm looking more and more like someone just released from changi.Went 4 "dragon boat" training with my class 4 the upcoming sea carnival.The boat is called a dragon boat but i do not anything resembling a dragon on the boat that we rowed.Felt abit retarded when i carried a green macdonals balloon all the way there until Jason kindly busted it.Alot of pple did not show up today,and most of them were late.Stanley the gp teacher was lke the only person there when 4 of us arrived on the dot.In the end only had enough pple to form a 10 men boat.Had a good row today,we're coordinating better as a class,lost narrowly to s20 in a friendly competition even though we were on a 10 men handicap.Cracked a few jokes amongst the guys during bathing at the national stadium.Guys will always be guys lah(dun see any purpose in adding this line),always thinking dirty.

Seperated from the group and took a cab to Mr Noordin's house at bedok reservoir road.Almost all of the members of the soccer team were present.Had great food,great fun among the guys.Joked around,watched soccer(wat else when u put 20+soccer crazy guys together).Really helped the team bonding alot.Still get to tapao curry puffs somemore.Still gt pilles of homework still undone,dun know want to finish them or nt.
